Electronic Sirens are a sophisticated alternative to dated motor-driven sirens. Furthermore, motorised sirens have a high current draw and are dependant on a connected mains supply.

Our electronic sirens deliver an outstanding acoustic performance due to the special design of the sound projector horns and the use of rugged high power compression drivers which have been developed especially for application in electronic sirens.

The horns are designed for maximum efficiency in sound generation and distribution.

This results for example in our smallest siren model delivering an average SPL of 102 dB (A) at a distance of 30 metres from the sound projector horn. A motor driven siren at the same distance only reaches a SPL of approximately 98 dB (A).

Our Siren Systems have the following features:

  • Low to mid range Sirens... ...are Constructed for Sound Pressure Levels (SPL) from 100 up to 116 dB at a range of 30m. This is considerably higher than the SPL produced by a traditional motor siren.
  • Independent From Mains Power. Sirens can operate independently from mains power by the use of battery buffering.
  • Maintenance-Free. The sirens are maintenance free (except for batteries where applicable).
  • Very Low Power Consumption. Our sirens typically draw less than 50mA per 10W output.
  • Power Requirement... ...for mains feed does not require a 3-phase supply. A conventional supply can be utilised.
  • Radio Control. Radio controllers can be directly integrated into the control cabinet allowing the radio unit to be powered by the siren's battery system. (except for the backup batteries).
  • High-end sirens... ...are available in output power levels from 109-127dB SPL @ 30m.
  • All Communication Interfaces... ...can be supplied (single or combination, e.g. serial interface, radio, dedicated leased line and ISDN).
  • Maximum Serviceability. A low spare parts count and cost-effective deployment are assured by the use of plug-in modules.
  • Versatile Power Supplies. High performance power supply for mains and solar supply with charging unit and special data bus for system control.
  • Digital Speech Storage... ...with a range of capacities assures maximum speech quality, with data compression and update of single messages via remote control media.
  • Upgrade Path. An upgrade path and combinations of communication media are available.
  • Separate Signal... ...and communication processors for maximum performance.
